Sinopsis
Fiction. Eight-year-old Elli and his mother, Marlène, live in a small town in the French Riviera where they perform to relieve boredom and hide from social services. When Marlène abandons herself to a new night of excess, she chooses to leave Elli for a man she just met. The young girl will have to confront her mother’s demons to get her back.
Vanessa Filho is a French director, scriptwriter, musician and photographer who started her career making short films and documentaries. In 2004, Vanessa brought together two talented musicians: Simon Buret and Olivier Coursier, who formed the band AaRON and who commissioned the young Vanessa all her video clips and photos. After an acclaimed career in the music video industry, Vanessa debuted in the Film industry with Angel Face, selected at the Cannes Film Festival. She was nominated for Best Director, Best Screenplay and for the Jury Prize.
