Sinopsis
Fiction. When Astrid Lindgren was very young, something happened that deeply affected her, and a combination of miracles and misfortunes shaped her life. That event made her one of the most inspiring women of our time and a popular storyteller all over the world. This is the story of a young Astrid who, despite the conditioning of her time and a religious education, decides to break with the norms of society and obey only her heart.
Pernille Fisher Christensen is one of the most successful Danish directors. She received her first prize at the Cannes Film Festival for her short film India, which she created during her training at the National Film School of Denmark. In 2003, the Danish Film Academy awarded her the Best Short Film Award for Habibti My Love. Her first feature film, A soap, premiered worldwide at the Berlinale and was awarded the Jury Grand Prix Silver Bear and the Best First Feature Film Award. A soap also received the Best Script Award at the San Sebastian Festival and won the Bodil Awards, given by de Danish Film Critics Association, for the 2007 Danish Film of the Year and for Best Actress. Fischer Christensen is also known for Someone you Love and A Family, nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlinale.
