Sinopsis
Fiction. Are 7 minutes enough to find the love of your life? The characters in this romantic comedy, a wide assortment of people, try to do so. This is why they come to a “speed dates” meeting, a gathering where people go when they want to meet other people. From that day on, the lives of all of them will be intertwined, creating a mosaic of situations where all of them will end up finding love where they least expected it.
Her first screenplay for a movie was Sé quién eres, directed in 2000 by Patricia Ferreira. In 1997 and 1999, she co-directed two short films with Inés París (A mí quién me manda meterme en esto and Vamos a dejarlo).
She made her debut in feature film direction with París in My Mother Likes Women (A mi madre le gustan las mujeres (2002). This film was nominated to three Goya Awards and has been released in many countries in Europe and Latin America.
In 2005 her second feature film as a director, Semen, a Love Sample (Semen, una historia de amor), also co-directed with Inés París, premiered. 7 minutes is her first feature film directed on her own.
