El alquimista impaciente (The Impatient Alchemist)
Sinopsis
Fiction. In a roadside motel, the body of a naked man is found, tied to the bed. Sergeant Rubén Bevilacqua (Vila) and his colleague Virginia Chamorro are in charge of the case, a specially difficult one because Trinidad Soler, the dead man, was an engineer at a nuclear plant, and this leads the press to hint at the most alarmist speculations. The victim was an ordinary man, well-liked at work, married, the father of small children, and there seems to be no suspects at the beginning. The only thing Bevilacqua and Chamorro find out is that the engineer arrived at the motel with a very pretty young woman, who disappeared without leaving any trace behind her. A conclusion is reached: death was probably accidental, and the file is closed. But three months later, the body of a dead woman turns up in a wood, prompting the investigation to start again.
