Sinopsis
Fiction. A diverse group of women live in a remote mountain location. The only male element in the house is nine-years-old Aga, the son of one of the women. When something unexpected happens, it is Aga who is tasked with fixing the situation.
Born in Kosovo, award winning film director Lendita Zeqiraj has been declared ‘National Filmmaker of the Year 2014’ and has won the Annual Film Excellence Award for Cinematic Achievements given by the Kosovo Ministry of Culture. Zeqiraj has also worked on numerous short films and documentaries that have been selected for more than 300 international festivals such as those of Oberhausen, Thessaloniki, Cairo, or Leeds…, winning numerous awards.
His short film Balcony, awarded at the 70th Venice Film Festival and screened at over 170 festivals, has won over 35 awards including the Special Jury Prize at the AFI FEST 2013. His latest short film, Fence, won Best Short Film at the Palm Springs Int’l ShortFest and the Hamptons and New Orleans Film Festival. She has been triple qualified for Oscar Academy Award, and continues traveling and winning awards throughout worldwide film festivals.
