Sinopsis
Fiction. The peace and quiet of a small seaside resort is disturbed by what looks like a possible invasion of sharks. This unexpected event worries the local people. Rosina is fourteen years old. She has two brothers, an older one and a younger one. She has no friends. Her interactions with the world are limited to single words and a rare full sentence. She thinks she saw something in the sea, but no one seems to pay much attention to her words. Her family is worried about other things – the tight economic situation at home, their jobs, and the summertime that will come soon. When her dad takes her with him, to start work in the maintenance of summer homes in the area, she meets Joselo, a fisherman who is a bit older than her. Among dirty swimming pools, pompous lawns, and deserted beaches, Rosina starts to experience something new – the desire to get closer to Joselo’s body. But her interest is seldom returned. She elaborates a tortuous, complicated, and somewhat clumsy plan to attract his attention. In doing so, she seems to be inspired by the presence of the mysterious predators. Like the sharks, she moves about, invisible and dangerous.
