Sinopsis

In Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel creepy neighbourhood, Monika and Joseph meet when she unintentionally gets caught up in a raid near the train station. Their lives can hardly be more different. Monika is in her mid-forties and belongs to the city's cultural scene as a curator. Josef, a Congolese, is a diamond dealer looking for people to invest in a mine in Congo, who keeps himself afloat with various import/export ventures. Their offbeat encounter leads to a passionate love affair that triggers the racist prejudices around them.
