Sinopsis
Laura and María were best friends, but a deception broke their friendship. After years of silence between them, they meet again on a farm in the Black Forest, where Kathi, María's terminally ill sister, resides. The three women soon seem on the verge of an inner collapse: sometimes comically, sometimes tragically, they force each other to take off their masks until they have to face existential questions and unearth the love they felt for each other.
Hanna Doose was born in Cologne in 1979 and studied at the European Film School in Denmark and at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin. During her studies, Hanna Doose was a guest student at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts and at the Stockholm Institute of Dramatic Arts. Her graduation film, “Dust on Our Hearts”, won three awards at the 2012 Munich Film Festival: directing, producing and audience. Her first film, “Kiss My Wounds” was also awarded at the Munich Film Festival in 2022.
