Sinopsis
Aslı, a young nurse, starts a new assignment in a small, isolated village that seems asleep in an endless winter. Rumors spread that bears are waking up early from their hibernation. When a man from the town disappears, Aslı finds herself surrounded by power relations, secrets and doubts.
Selcen Ergun earned her master’s degree in Directing and Screenwriting from Istanbul Bilgi University after studying Industrial Design and Visual Culture at METU. She was a student of the Berlin Artist-in-Residence program (Berlin AiR) and the Nipkow Program. Her short films Confrontation and A Sunny Day were selected and awarded at several international film festivals. Snow and the Bear is her first feature film; a Turkish, German and Serbian co-production financed by Eurimages.
