Para su tranquilidad, haga su propio museo (For Your Peace of Mind, Make Your Own Museum)
Sinopsis
In a tiny village in the middle of nowhere, inhabits the ghost of an old woman named Senobia Cerrud. Many years ago, she decided to transform her house into The Museum of Antiquities of All Species. She found a way to avoid death and now she lives on in her museum forever surrounded by the fantastic world she created.
Ana Endara is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer. She has a master’s degree in social sciences from Florida State University and studied Film Direction at Cuba’s International Film and Television School (EICTV). “For Your Peace of Mind, Make Your Own Museum”, a documentary directed with Pilar Moreno is her most recent work. Her documentary, “The Joy of Sound “(2016), premiered at the IDFA Competition for Mid-Length Documentary. Together with her previous films “Curundú” (2007) and “Reinas” (Majesty) (2013), her work shares different perspectives on Panamanian society, raising intriguing questions, and exploring the sense of belonging. In 2012 she founded Mansa Productora, a small independent audio-visual production company in Panama City, Panama. She is currently working on the post-production of his first fiction feature film, with the working title “Querido trópico” (Beloved Tropic).
Pilar Moreno is a visual artist and a psychiatrist. She graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She subsequently distanced herself from conventional clinical practice, specializing in art therapy, and completed training in narrative practices. Her artistic work proposes narratives on different social and political subjects, apparently poetic and at the same time, critical and ironic. Particularly interested in inclusion and feminism, she integrates into her artistic practice projects that link her work with diverse community groups. “For your peace of mind, Make Your Own Museum” is her first feature film as a director. She lives and works in Panama and regularly collaborates with other artists, musicians and filmmakers.
