Sinopsis
In a remote out-of-time village called El Eco, children take care of the sheep and their grandparents. When winter and drought hit the place, they learn, with every act, word and silence from their parents, to understand death, work and love. It tells about the echo of things that adhere to the soul, about the certainty of the shelter that we can find next to those around us, about rebellion and vertigo in the face of life; about growing up.
Tatiana Huezo is a Mexican-Salvadoran filmmaker. She graduated from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica and holds a master’s degree in creative documentary from the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona. She gained international reputation with her debut feature film “The Smallest Place” (“The Tiniest).
