La memoria infinita (The Eternal Memory)
Sinopsis
Augusto Góngora, a veteran Chilean journalist and prominent chronicler of the crimes of the Pinochet regime, and Paulina Urrutia, actress, activist, and politician, have been a close-knit couple for over twenty years. Eight years ago, Augusto was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Ever since, they have been facing the inexorable and accelerated decline of their physical and mental faculties. Pauline's story of dedication and Augustus' fierce struggle to preserve his identity make for a deeply moving testimony. “Eternal Memory” is both an investigation into human dignity in old age and adversity, as well as into the mechanisms of individual and collective remembrance.
