Sinopsis
Ariadna (Laia Costa) discovers that her grandfather has long been searching for the remains of his own father, who disappeared in the Spanish Civil War. Determined to help him, she travels to Burgos, where they are exhuming a mass grave in which he could be buried. During her stay there, she will learn the story of Antoni Benaiges (Enric Auquer. He was a young teacher from Tarragona and her grandfather was his pupil before the war. Through an innovative pedagogical method, Antoni inspired his students and made them a promise: to take them to see the sea.
Patricia Font is a director from Barcelona. She graduated from the Higher School of Cinema and Audiovisuals of Catalonia (ESCAC) and soon began working in the directing team of numerous film and television productions. Some years after, she had the opportunity to direct four episodes of the second season of the series “Pulseras Rojas”, was her film directorial debut. She has directed several cinema and television films, including the short film “Café para llevar”, which was awarded the Goya for Best fiction short film.
