La ciudad perdida/Terroristi a Madrid (The Lost City)

Rafa, a Republican exile from the Civil War, returns to his hometown to carry out an action against the Franco regime. The mission fails and, trying to escape, he kidnaps an upper-class woman.

Margarita Alexandre was a Spanish film and theatre actress, director and producer in the early days of both the Franco dictatorship in Spain and revolutionary Cuba. She is one of the pioneering directors of Spanish cinema along with Elena Jordi, Helena Cortesina, Ana Mariscal and Rosario Pi.
