Sinopsis
Three young friends read the obituary of who they assume is a schoolmate they lost track of a long time ago. When they go to the mortuary and realize they are not attending their schoolmate farewell sitting. From here, confusion and chance weave a story of friendship, love and death.
María Ripoll studied cinema at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and at La Fémis. In 1990, she moved to Los Angeles, where she graduated from a master's degree in film directing at the American Film Institute (AFI). Back in Spain, she directed “Utopia” (2003) and “Tu vida en 65 minutos” (2006), based on a play by Alberto Espinosa. In 2015, she released the comedy “Ahora o nunca”, starring Dani Rovira and María Valverde, which was a great audience success achieving the biggest ever box-office hit in Spanish cinema.
