Bye Bye Tiberias (Adiós Tiberiade)

Bye Bye Tiberias

Sinopsis

When Hiam Abbass left her village to follow her dream of becoming an actress, she also left behind her mother, grandmother and seven sisters. Thirty years later, Lina, her filmmaker daughter, returns with her to travel through vanished places among scattered memories of four generations of Palestinian women.

Lina Soualem (France)

Lina Soualem is a French-Palestinian-Algerian filmmaker and actress, born and based in Paris. In 2019, she released her first feature-length documentary, Leur Algerie (Their Algeria). In recent years, Lina acted in three feature films directed by Hafsia Herzi, Hiam Abbass and Rayhana.
