Sinopsis
The new "Emmanuelle" and painter of "Portrait of a Lady on Fire", Noémie Merlant, directs, performs and co-writes with Céline Sciamma a film ready to offend and excite in equal parts.
In the hottest summer in Marseille, three friends who love each other very much, but bear little resemblance, exchange likes, glances and fires with the neighbour on the balcony across the street. The banter is served, and so is the blood.
Noémie Merlant is a French actress, director and singer. She became known in the early 2010’s, for her role in Céline Sciamma's period film Portrait de la jeune fille en feu (2019). For this role, she was acclaimed both nationally and internationally, winning the Lumière for Best Actress and a second César nomination.
