Sinopsis
Samia defies taboos by running through the streets of Mogadishu, in a society where a woman is not supposed to do it. Her passion will one day take her to the Olympic Games.
A graduate from the Munich Film and Television School, Yasemin directs the TV films Alles Getürkt and Ich Chefe, and works as a co-writer in the series Turkish for Beginners. Her first feature film, the family comedy Almanya, written with her sister Nesrin, was a huge success and received numerous awards and accolades. She also has extensive experience as an assistant in international productions directed by Jackie Chan, Teddy Chan and Stanley Tong.
