Through the eyes of Debora Álvarez, the film explores how women and the associative movement have been key in creating support networks and building a movement that has fought discrimination and promoted the visibility of people with HIV. The participants will reflect on the importance of female voices in science and activism, as well as on the transformative role of filmmaking directed by women in telling these stories of struggle and resilience. Debora Álvarez, PhD in Public Health, Sociologist and Scientific Communicator specialised in health issues, will participate in the subsequent discussion.

PhD in Public Health, she is a Science communicator specialized in health and in social intervention based on the use of audiovisual tools.

Osmely Piña
MD graduated from the University of Zulia (2019, Venezuela), founding member of the LGBTI movement Okay, no, director of the film festival Encuentro Diverso. She participated an MD in the Luz First Aid Foundation (PALUZ) in collaboration with UNICEF; psychosocial promoter of the Fundación Rehabilitarte through UNICEF's WASH programme (2021 - 2022), Project Manager of Acción Triángulo and Cinemateca Pedro Zerolo (2021 - Present).
