Venezuela marked a turning point in cinema with Liz en septiembre, a film in which acclaimed director Fina Torres boldly portrayed the characters Liz and Eva in a story that explores self-discovery and female empowerment. The film challenges traditional narratives, celebrating love’s transformative power in women's lives. Following the screening, Venezuelan actress and model Arlette Torres will lead a discussion on the film’s feminist implications, moderated by Axa Milá de la Roca, journalist and co-founder of Gente Que Comunica and head of communications at Salud Entre Culturas.
