The event will be focused on the documentary "Soy Visible" by Fernanda Carvalho, which narrates the first Positive Pride in Spain. It will explore the stories of women living with HIV and their daily activism, challenging decades of prejudice and stigma. The screening will be accompanied by a discussion with director Fernanda Carvalho, a prominent filmmaker and activist, and the Mujeres Vihvas collective, who have dedicated their work to making visible the realities and challenges of women living with HIV in Spain.
Fernanda Carvalho
Fernanda Carvalho is an audiovisual producer, with a degree in journalism. In 2023 she premiered the documentary on Positive Pride, "Soy Visible", currently available on the Filmin platform. Previously, she made "De si, Tirou", a documentary made in Brazil about suicide, with which she was a finalist for the 2017 Délio Rocha journalism award. She currently makes documentary, marketing, education and journalism audiovisual pieces.

Comunidad Mujeres VIHvas
Mujeres VIHvas is a pioneering online community in Spain, created especially by and for HIV positive women. They are a reference space for women with HIV, a place of learning where they can meet other women and share experiences, creating an intergenerational care network that transforms challenges into experiences of empowerment, overcoming and resilience.

Gerjo Pérez Meliá
Human Rights Activist, Director of the Cinemateca Pedro Zerolo and head of the Health team of Acción Triángulo. He coordinates intervention and accompaniment programs for HIV+ migrants, rapid HIV testing service, intervention and psychosocial accompaniment for women with TMS and TTS. In response to the social emergency caused by Covid 19, he promoted the campaign #La Solidaridad no se Cancela, and since 2007 cooperation projects related to HIV and trans women in different Latin American countries.
