Sinopsis

Diana, Countess of Belflor, is a perceptive, impulsive and smart young woman. She is in love with her secretary, Teodoro, but learns that he is already engaged. Moved by jealousy and envy, she does everything possible to separate the two lovers. Adaptation of the play by Lope de Vega, respecting the original text in verse.


Pilar Miró (Spain)

Pilar Mercedes Miró Romero (Madrid, April 20th, 1940 – Madrid, October 19th, 1997) was one of the pioneers of the audiovisual industry in Spain when she graduated from the Spanish Escuela Oficial de Cinematografía in 1967. She was Director-General of Cinematography (1982-1985) and Director-General of RTVE (1986-1989), being the first woman to hold both positions. As a director she oversaw a multitude of television productions and films, including El crimen de Cuenca, Beltenebros and El perro del hortelano.
