Sinopsis
In a Valencian village, during the post Spanish Civil War period, Ana tries to get ahead with her family. The war opened a deep wound in all of them. Ana tries to sooth the pain with stews, secrets and silences, but sacrifice does not always have its reward.
Based on the novel of the same name by Rafael Chirbes.
Celia Rico Clavellino debuted with the award-winning short film Luisa no está en casa (2013). Her first feature film, Journey to a Mother's Room (2018), premiered in San Sebastian and received numerous awards, including several Gaudí Awards and a Feroz Award. Her second film, Little Loves (2024), won the Silver Biznaga and the Best Supporting Actress award at the Malaga Festival, as well as nominations for the Goya and Gaudí Awards.
