Sinopsis

Madrid, 1988. Elena is dealing with the recent loss of her grandmother as she prepares to make her First Communion. Her friendship with Serezade, a girl who does not separate from her goat, leads her to wonder if the world is really as she has been told.


Ana Asensio (Spain)

Ana Asensio is an actress, screenwriter and director. She began her career as an actress, working in Spanish television series. Her debut film as a writer and director, Most Beautiful Island (2017), shot while living in New York, won the Grand Jury Prize at SXSW 2017, and was nominated for the John Cassavetes Awards at the Film Independent Spirit Awards in 2018. It was distributed on all continents, and was premiered at more than 50 international festivals, including Sitges, BFI and Mumbai. She is currently developing a television series and has returned to Spain to act in a Netflix series.
