Sinopsis
The film tells the story of Ainara, an idealistic and brilliant 17-year-old who must choose a university career or, at least, that is what her family hopes. However, she says that she feels increasingly closer to God and considers embracing the life of a cloistered nun. The news surprises the whole family, causing an abyss and a litmus test for everyone.
Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, born in Barakaldo (Bizkaia), is a director and screenwriter. With a degree in English Philology from the Universidad de Deusto and Audiovisual Communication from the UPV, she graduated in Film Directing from the ECAM, where she made the award-winning short film Clases particulares (2005). She founded Igloo Films in 2012 and has directed advertising campaigns for brands such as Coca-Cola and BBVA. Her short film Dicen (2011) was selected at more than 160 festivals and won 50 awards. In 2022 she premiered her debut film Cinco lobitos, followed by the series Querer in 2024.
