Sinopsis
Franky, a young nurse from London, was deeply affected by an accident in her childhood. Fifteen years later, her life is held back by insecurity and an obsession with finding answers. Everything changes when she falls in love with Florence, a vibrant patient who welcomes her into her home, inviting her to overcome the scars of the past.
Dutch director and screenwriter Sacha Polak graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy in 2006. She made her feature-film debut with Hemel (2012), which premiered at the Berlinale, and subsequently directed Zurich (2015) and Dirty God (2019), about a woman trying to rebuild her life after suffering an acid attack. The latter won the Best Director Award at the Netherlands Film Festival. In 2023, she released Silver Haze, a story about trauma, love, and rebuilding one’s life.
