
Opening Ceremony
We have a lot of things to tell you about the “Cine por mujeres” Opening Ceremony that took place on April 3. More than 530 people attended, included a select group of professionals in the Film Industry and four outstanding personalities in the audio-visual and film business.

Beatriz Montañez, among other things, noted: “The time has come when questions of gender or race will not deprive us of the knowledge of our own history. The binary opposition between male and female has to become a group of intelligent people who seek to get real and tangible equality. This generation is meant to be the one who achieved one of the greatest victories of our era: Equality.”

Producer Belén Atienza received the 2018 Award for an outstanding career
Belén Atienza is a film and Spanish television producer of more than 30 films and has worked in several international productions. Amongst her most outstanding works deserve to be highlighted Lo imposible, Un monstruo viene a verme and the TV series Penny Dreadful, where she worked as co-executive producer.
