The FOCUS Section of this edition is dedicated to Chinese cinematography with a selection of 6 films screened in the movie theatre of the Academia de Cineand in Cineteca Madrid. This is the result of the collaboration of the Festival with the China Women Film Festival, which started in 2013, and is dedicated to providing female filmmakers and young screenwriters with a platform to encourage the creation of original content and the development of film projects. The CWFF promotes equal opportunities, fosters professional development, and serves as a resource and information network for Chinese women.
