Since its inception, the Madrid Films by Women Festival, aimed at all audiences, is an unmissable annual event in the international calendar of film festivals. Less than a week before the start of the 6th edition, we announce the careful selection of feature films in the International Competition, made between 2022 and 2023 and multi-awarded at world-class festivals – such as Sundance, Berlinale, San Sebastián, Melbourne and Miami – which will premiere in Spain or Madrid during the festival. This year, we also have a selection of six recent international films, out of competition, in the International Panorama, the new section of this edition. The programmed films will take the audience on a tour through China, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Serbia, Sweden, Türkeye and the United States, with recently released and worldwide award-winning films.
