Sinopsis
Fiction. In the 20th century twenties, Lola, a singer, accompanied by her guitarist, goes to a farmhouse in Sanlucar owned by Don Diego, who just wants to seduce her. However, she falls in love with Luis, Don Diego's son, which triggers a family tragedy. From the play by Antonio and Manuel Machado.
Josefina Molina Reig, born in Córdoba in 1936, is a film director, screenwriter, television producer and writer. She is one of the pioneers of the Spanish cinema industry and has directed films such as Función de noche (1981) and Esquilache (1988), and the television series Teresa de Jesús (1984). She is Co-Founder of the Association of Women Filmmakers and audiovisual media (CIMA), of which she is honorary president.
She received the ICAA National Film Award in 2019.
