Ten international feature films, not been premiered yet in either Spain or Madrid, and produced between 2020 and 2021, competed for the Best Film Award being the Award winner Un monde (Playground), by Belgian director Laura Wandel.

Fourteen feature films made between 2019 and 2021 competed for the RC Award for Best Spanish Film, awarded by the Golden Blog Awards Association, being the Award winner Once Upon a Place, by director Cèlia Novis. The section was inaugurated with the feature film by Ana Mariscal, El camino, out of competition.

Two feature films directed by Arab women were screened in Casa Árabe Madrid. The selection of titles presented has been made in collaboration with MAD Solutions, the first Pan-Arab independent studio and fully integrative marketing and creative consultancy for the Arab film and Entertainment industry

A feature film and an animated series directed by renowned French female directors were screened.

Casa de América screened three films: one by the legendary Cuban director Sara Gómez, preceded by an introduction to her work, and two contemporary feature films presented by their directors Paula Hernández and Ángeles Cruz.

Three feature films by Mexican female directors were screened.

Cineteca Madrid screened a selection of four recent films by Swedish directors, thanks to the collaboration of the Swedish Embassy and the Swedish Institute.

Once again in 2021 the collaboration between the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza and the festival continued with the screening of a feature film focusing on the life of a female artist.

A selection of three feature films that address the conflict of Islamic fundamentalism, with women as protagonists, was screened.
