Festival opening

October, 27th. 8 pm

The Career Achievement Award was presented and the opening film, CODA, by Sian Heder, was screened. USA. 111'.
With the collaboration of Tripictures.

Festival closing

November, 6th. 8 pm

The Best International Film Award to Un monde (Playground) (Playground), by Laura Wandel, and the Best Spanish Film Award to Once Upon a Place, by Celia Novis, were announced, and the Closing film, L'événement, by Audrey Diwan, France, 100', was screened.

International Competition

Ten international feature films, not been premiered yet in either Spain or Madrid, and produced between 2020 and 2021, competed for the Best Film Award being the Award winner Un monde (Playground), by Belgian director Laura Wandel.

Spanish Authors Competition

Fourteen feature films made between 2019 and 2021 competed for the RC Award for Best Spanish Film, awarded by the Golden Blog Awards Association, being the Award winner Once Upon a Place, by director Cèlia Novis. The section was inaugurated with the feature film by Ana Mariscal, El camino, out of competition.
