Sinopsis

Animation. “Culotées” is the animated adaptation of the work of Pénélope Bagieu, published in 2016. Apache warrior or Hollywood mermaid, house light keeper or creator of trolls, gynecologist or empress, rock star or bearded woman, athlete or shaman, explorer or astronaut ... From Hedy Lamarr, Hollywood actress and producer, but above all inventor of the technology behind WiFi, to Annette Kellerman, extraordinary swimmer and inventor of the modern swimsuit, to Leymah Gbowee, social worker, Liberian activist and Nobel Prize winner. All these women are united by a common denominator: the fact that they have acted in a way that has changed their lives, as well as on the rebound, their time and their entire societies. These women, with their stubbornness, fearlessness, and strength of character, have faced adversity, overcome prejudice, and broken-down barriers.
