Sinopsis
Fiction. Nora, 7, and her older brother Abel go back to school. When Nora witnesses Abel being bullied by other children, she rushes to protect him by warning their father. But Abel forces her to remain silent. Caught in a loyalty dilemma, Nora will have to find her place between the world of children and the world of adults.
Laura Wandel, born in Belgium in 1984, she studied Film at IAD school (Institute of Broadcasting Arts) in Louvain-la-Neuve. Her final-year film ‘Murs’ (Walls), was selected by numerous international festivals. After her first short film, ‘O négatif’ (Negative O), in 2014 she directed the short ‘Les corps étrangers’ (Foreign bodies), selected by the Cannes Film Festival for the Un certain regard section. ‘Playground’ (Un monde) is her first feature film.
