Sinopsis
Fiction. When her husband leaves her to go with a very young girl, the first hot flashes begin to announce the definitive maturity. Her gynecologist treats her with paternalism, prescribes hormones, and advises her to maintain an active sex life. Her daughter, a fanatic psychotherapist with no sense of humor, tortures her by subjecting her to constant therapy. And to top it all, it seems that no matter what happens, a mature woman is always expected to be balanced, reasonable and sensible. But Isabel is not willing to be condescending and decides to stop being silly and prim and enjoy life waiting for any adventure.
Dolores Payás was born in Barcelona. For several years she lived in Mexico City. She studied cinematography at UNAM and worked as a television scriptwriter. Upon her return to Spain, she continued with her work as a screenwriter, and also directed two feature films. Four years ago, she decided to dedicate herself exclusively to literature. She has translated several books, is the author of several articles and has written a novel.
