Franka Potente is a German actress, singer and director. She first appeared in the comedy film After Five in the Forest Primeval, for which she won the Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Actress. After twenty years as a film and television actress, after directing a short film herself, and being a writer for seven years, the next logical step for Franka Potente was to write a script and make a film.
