金都 (My Prince Edward)
Sinopsis
Fiction. My Prince Edward is set in the Golden Plaza in the Prince Edward district, a Hong Kong mall known for its bridal shops and cheap wedding supplies. Fong (Stephy Tang) is an employee of one of those bridal shops. She has been with Edward (Chu Pak Hong), the owner of a wedding photography shop in the same mall for seven years. Everyone sees Edward as Fong's Prince Charming, destined to walk down the aisle. The problem is that Fong must first solve the sham marriage she was paid for years before in order to get married for real.
Norris Wong received her BA in Film Production from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2012. As a screenwriter and director of Fall (2013), she won the Best Screenplay award at the Hong Kong FreshWave International Short Film Festival and screened at the Udine Far East Film Festival.
Her short film From Here to There (2012) was screened at the Poitiers Film Festival and the Tokyo International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
Her first feature film My Prince Edward (2019) has the support of the Hong Kong Film Development Council & Create Hong Kong, as one of the three projects selected in the 4th First Feature Film Initiative.
