Havana Divas

Sinopsis

The story centers on sisters Caridad Amaran and Georgina Wong Guitiérrez, two girls who learned the art of Cantonese Opera in Havana, in 1930, from their father, a Chinese immigrant whose family forbade him from performing. During the 1940s, the sisters toured throughout Cuba performing as divas, before Fidel Castro's revolution changed their lives.
