Sinopsis
Lex, a Dutch writer known for his novels has money and fame but since Hannah left him years ago, he hasn't gotten over the breaking-up. Lex wants to let go the relationship with a symbolic gesture and asks Hannah to climb the mountain up with him for one last time together. Voytek, a professional guide, is hired to take them there. When he feels something wrong with Lex’s mental condition Voytek refuses to leave Hannah alone with him.
Writer and film director. Her debut feature, Nothing personal (2009), was nominated for two European Film Academy Awards (2010). It won six awards, including two at Locarno: the Golden Leopard for Best First Feature, and Best Actress, for Lotte Verbeek’s performance. Code Blue (2011) was chosen for the Cannes Directors' Fortnight section. The lead actress, Bien de Moor, won several international awards for best actress. Beyond Words (2017) had its international premiere in Toronto and its European competition premiere in San Sebastian.
