Sinopsis
As night falls in rural Germany, old VW-caravans decorated with flashy lights line the country roads that lead through potato fields and dark forests. Inside these vehicles, prostitutes from all over Europe and Africa await their clients. One day, one of them is killed. The film depicts a society at the harsh end of globalized capitalism.
German filmmaker and visual artist. In 2012 she graduated from the KHM Academy of Media Arts Cologne as a fellow of the German National Academic Foundation. In 2003 she received the Video Arts diploma from the HSLU Lucerne University of Art and Design. Her films and artwork have been exhibited at festivals, museums and galleries worldwide and have received multiple awards. Lovemobil (2019) is her feature debut which premiered at the 72nd Locarno FF / Semaine de la Critique 2019.
