Sinopsis
Greta is a middle-aged mother of a 12-year-old son with no support from her ex-husband. After losing her job as an architect, she begins to work in a call center until she is fired again. She tries her best to stay calm, but financial problems overwhelm her and the time to pay off debts is running out. She starts drinking and drifts through Berlin’s suburbs. On this tour de force she will be torn between the pressure to get on with her family life and her inner contradictions.
(1966-2021) Read literature, theater and sociology. In 1999 she began her work as an artist in performance and film. In 2001, she founded the performance film collective "Hangover Ltd." along with other female artists. In 2014, she co-founded the ProQuote Regie initiative, an association of women directors. As a director, teacher and activist, she fought against a film founding system that crushes the creativity of women torn between emancipation and the pressure to adapt.
