Sinopsis
Palm Trees and Power Lines tells the story of Lea, a bored teenager living with her mother, Sandra, who is not the most attentive. One summer evening, Lea meets Tom, a significantly older man who gives her the attention she desperately needs. But this attention comes with a hefty price tag.
Filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. Her short film Palm Trees and Power Lines premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival as a Cinefondation selection, and received the 2nd King Prize at the New York University’s Graduate Film Wasserman Awards. The film was also selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick. Her short documentary Penny & Dee screened at numerous festivals across the USA and premiered online at the award-winning Narratively.
