Manto de gemas (Robe of Gems)

Isabel and her family take possession of her mother's villa in rural Mexico, where they meet again with Mari, the lifelong housekeeper. Nothing has been the same since Isabel's mother left. The house is neglected, Isabel and her husband are drifting apart, and their children worry about them. The disappearance of Mari's sister has left her family broken and forced to participate in criminal activities with Adan, the son of a local police officer. Isabel decides to embark on a dangerous journey, leaving her children aside and ignoring Mari's advice.

Bolivian film editor, director and producer. She studied at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in México and in 2006 she directed her first short film En el cielo como en la tierra, which was presented at the 2007 Cannes Semaine de la critique. She has worked as an editor for several films such as Luz silenciosa (2007) and Heli (2013). She started acting at Nuestro tiempo (2018), which she also edited. Robe of Gems (2022), a film that shows the violence of organized crime, is her debut feature film.
