Sinopsis
For Sara, summer only means having to put up with the constant teasing of the other girls in her small town. But all of this ends when a stranger comes to town and kidnaps her bullies. Sara knows more than she is saying and will have to face a dilemma: speak up and free the girls, or remain silent to protect the strange man who has rescued her.
She has been a screenwriter, director and script supervisor for series such as Periodistas, Mis adorables vecinos and Motivos personales. She has directed series like Acacias 38, El secreto de Puente Viejo, Lex and Lalola. She has worked as director in Los hombres de Paco, Águila roja, Luna, The mystery of Calenda -El misterio de Calenda- and B&b, de boca en boca. Her first short film, The Blondes -Las Rubias-, was selected in over 140 festivals. Piggy -Cerdita-, her second short film as a director, has been selected for more than 270 international festivals and has won 77 awards to date, including the Forqué for best short film and the 2019 Goya for best fiction short film. There Will Be Monsters is her third short film.
