Sinopsis

Eva and Eva dream of having a child in paradise, while an HIV-positive boy reads Moby Dick at the bottom of an empty pool. Eva is Tânia, a young woman studying to pass a public exam and become a judge. The other Eva is Vanessa, an executive who works at an important advertising agency.


Maria de Medeiros

Portuguese actress, screenwriter, director and singer. Her directorial debut feature, Capitães de Abril (2000), was selected by the Cannes Festival and won the International Jury Award at the São Paulo Film Festival. She participated in the direction of the documentary Bem-Vindo a São Paulo (2004), and she wrote and directed Mathilde au Matin (2004), Je t'aime, moi non plus: artistes et critiques (2004), A Morte do Principe (1991), Fragmento II (1988) and Sévérine C. (1987). She won the Coppa Volpi for Best Actress at the Venice Mostra with Two Brothers, My Sister (1994), and in 2001, she was made a Knight of the French Order of the Arts and Letters.
