Memoria y sexualidad de las mujeres bajo el franquismo (Memory and sexuality of women under Francoism) (2)

 This documentary is the testimony of a project that wants to give visibility to an issue that has been denied, silenced and repressed under the Franco dictatorship: the sexuality of women beyond the model of the immaculate woman, mother and wife at home, imposed by the Franco regime as a form of social control and hierarchical submission to the husband. This project has brought together the efforts of an interdisciplinary group of researchers, composing a mosaic, a fresco that manages to cover the void that has existed until now in a field that combines sexuality and historical memory.

 Cecilia Montagut has a degree in Psychology (Universidad de Buenos Aires) and has studied filmmaking at the Centro Experimental de Avellaneda (Buenos Aires)). She began her career in Argentina in film and advertising directing teams. She moved to Spain in 1991. Cecilia Montagut dedicates herself, among other things, to making documentaries that denounce gender discrimination. Cecilia Montagut has been part of the EmPoderArte association (formerly Generando Arte) since its inception.
