Sinopsis

Inés, a Spanish artist living in India, stumbles upon “Sultana’s Dream” – a sci-fi short story written in Bengal in 1905 by real-life feminist thinker Rokeya Hossain. She sets out on a voyage of discovery around India in search of Ladyland, the Utopian land of women.During her trip, different characters from her life will appear, such as her parents, her lover and a friend; and also, cultural figures such as Paul B. Preciado and Mary Beard. Through different animation techniques, the film develops its plot placing us in different historical and cultural contexts.
