Sinopsis
At the end of World War II, for the first time in history, women journalists are allowed to report directly from the front. As they tour the front lines of World War II, Martha Gellhorn, Margret Bourke-White and Lee Miller add a feminine subtext to war reporting that forever changes our perception of war as the "father of all things."
Luzia Schmid was born in 1966 in Zurich. She studied journalism at MAZ Lucerne. From1990 to 98 she worked as editor, author and presenter at Swiss Radio DRS 3 and German Swiss Broadcasting Service (SRF). Since 1997 she works, as well, as independent director for SRF. In 1998 she continued her education at KHM (Media Art Academy) in Cologne at the Film/Television Department. She Teaches at the “Gestaltungsschule Farbmühle” and HSA (University of Applied Sciences for Social Work) in Lucerne.
