Less than two weeks before the start of the 6th edition of the Films by Women Madrid Festival, we advance the excellent program organized in collaboration with 14 leading cultural entities in the city, which make the Parallel Sections possible. A total of 30 titles will be featured, including fiction, documentaries, and animation, mostly awarded at festivals around the world. This program would not be possible without the invaluable support of the collaborating venues, detailed below, since they allow the programming and dissemination of the chosen titles. In addition, thanks to the Casa de América, the Biblioteca Nacional de España, the Embassy of Switzerland, Fundación Casa de México en España and the Centro de Estudios Mexicanos UNAM-España, the audience will be able to meet some of the directors and professionals invited to this edition, such as the film producer Inés Vázquez, or the directors Luzia Schmid and Tatiana Huezo. They all sum up to the 27 invited professionals that will participate in the Festival, in order to dialogue and share impressions with the attendees in the presentations or colloquiums.
